Veteran center Marcus Camby spent last season in both Portland and Houston, but next season he’ll back in the Big Apple to join the new-look New York Knicks. Camby has just agreed on a sign and trade deal between the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks, which will earn him $13.2 million over 3 years and send him back to the team he spent five years with (that included the magical run to the NBA Finals in 1999) for Toney Douglas, Jerome Jordan, Josh Harrelson and second round picks in 2014 and 2015. Camby will be joined with veteran point guard and future hall of famer Jason Kidd on the bench as they will mentor the up and coming Knicks squad led by Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and now Jeremy Lin. With smart moves like this, the Knicks are making sure that other team will NEVER win over the hearts of New Yorkers.
