SPORTS: UConn Men’s Basketball Coach Is Set To Retire A Legendary Career

After 3 national championships and over 600 wins, 70 year old Jim Calhoun is calling it quits and making a move towards retirement.

According to the NY Daily News:

“Calhoun won more than 618 games since becoming the head coach at this Big East school in 1986 when he replaced Dom Perno. He has a career record of 866-369 since taking the head coaching job at Northeastern in 1971.

Calhoun won seven Big East tournamnent titles and coached his team to four Final Fours and five Elite Eights. He was was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005.”
