The NY Knicks have until 11:59PM tonight to match the offer for Jeremy Lin but sources have stated that the Knicks will not match the offer Rockets have given Lin.

Lin got an offer from the Rockets worth $25.1M.

Some play are saying Lin is not worth it, regardless of his “Linsanity” season last year.  He did not play in the playoffs last year due to a knee injury. Maybe if he did and they got past the first round of the playoffs, maybe things would be different.  But if they would have matched the offer, there would have been a luxury cap issue.

The Knicks did sign PG Raymond Felton and Jason Kidd, who was just arrested for DWI.
