Mayweather and Cottos fight had 1.5 million people buy Pay-Per-View that night, bringing in $94,000,000 revenue.

It’s the 2nd highest paid PPV that was not a heavyweight fight. The 1st is of course Mayweather vs De La Hoya that had a $137M revenue. Mayweather’s 9 fights on PPV have made them $543M.

“He’s a superstar and able to capture the interest of a large audience. He has broken out of the boxing following and now has a mainstream following that is unmatched in the sport. The numbers keep getting bigger and bigger,” Richard Schaefer, Mayweathers promoter, states.

Oh, and let’s not forget the $32M he got from the fight itself, he will be getting money from the PPV revenues too.
