SPORTS: Knicks’ Lin OUT 6 weeks for knee surgery

New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin is ‘likely’ out for the season. Lin tore his meniscus in his left knee — he will need surgery. Baron Davis will be starting at point.

Lin averages 14.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game.

New York Knicks have the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference.

They play the Cavaliers tonight, but then the Pacers and Magic in the next few days.
