For those seeking relief as a result of Hurricane Sandy, the Red Cross encourages you to find a fixed feeding site or shelter in your area. If a fixed feeding site isn’t in your area, we encourage you to find an Emergency Response Vehicle on the ground providing urgently needed meals, water and comfort kits. The list of Emergency Response Vehicle locations is below and will be updated regularly.
ERV2128: At 4:50 pm RedCross Emergency Vehicle is at Overton St and Hudson Ave in front Pier 95 Restaurant near Marina and is distributing sandwiches, snacks and water
ERV2198: At 4:45 pm an RedCross Emergency Vehicle is at the Home Depot, 2750 Veterans Road West,Staten Island, and is distributing food, water, and comfort kits.
ERV2203: At 4:37pm an RedCross Emergency Vehicle is on Mason Ave, New Dorp, Staten Island, NY close to the beach distributing food and water.
ERV1106: At 4:36 pm RedCross Emergency Vehicle is at corner of Mason Ave and Stobe Avein Staten Island and is distributing hot meals, snacks , and water.
ERV1182: At 4:25 pm an RedCross Emergency Vehicle is at Highland and Armstrong close to Huguenot, NY and is distributing meals
ERV2151: At 4:21pm a RedCross Emergency Vehicle is at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, NY and is distributing hot meals
