This years ComiCon came and went with its fair share of delights and surprises, and Marvel Studios took advantage of the moment to unveil their future projects, one of which being Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The sequel to the hit Captain America: The First Avenger is coming and it may look like another Marvel character may share the spotlight with Cap. It is being reported that actor Anthony Mackie (Spike Lee’s She Hate Me and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) is actually in talks with Marvel Studios to play The Falcon. The Falcon is actually Marvel Comics’ first African American super-hero that was Cap’s co-star in many of the comics in the ’70s. I hope the talented actor gets that bit of shine… in the meantime, can we get a Black Panther film done already?!
