When 2011 tipped off, many sneaker blogs and forums were informed of Jordan Brand’s plans for the Holiday and 2012 early. The list of shoes, while largely dismissed at the time, came into true form as the year progressed with only the Air Jordan 17 retro release being the only to remain unseen. Well, that anonymous source is back again with a list of the Air Jordan retro releases that we can expect for this Holiday and 2012.
JORDAN BRAND UPDATE FOR 2012-2013
I am back with news for Jordan Brand 2012-2013. Last time I posted here was in June when I gave you guys the news about the 12?s releasing this year. Most Jordans have been confirmed (4s, 6s, 7s) BUT. . . There is more.
2012
-AIR JORDAN 6 RETRO MAROON- FALL
-AIR JORDAN 6 RETRO SEPTEMBER BLUE- FALL
-AIR JORDAN 7 RETRO FRENCH BLUE -TBA 2012
-AIR JORDAN 11 COLUMBIA -CHRISTMAS 2012
-AIR JORDAN 5 DOERNBECHER- WINTER 2012
-AIR JORDAN 13 BLACK-VARSITY RED TBA 20122013
-AIR JORDAN 5 GRAPE ICE-NEW EMERALD -SUMMER 2013
-AIR JORDAN 5 FIRE RED -SPRING 2013
-AIR JORDAN 5 SPORT ROYAL/STEALTH -SPRING 2013
-AIR JORDAN 5 WHITE/VARISTY BLUE/VARISTY MAIZE- SUMMER 2013
-AIR JORDAN 8 BLACK/CHROME TBA 2013
-AIR JORDAN 8 BRING CONCORD/AQUA TBA 2013
-AIR JORDAN 8 WHITE-BLACK-TRUE RED TBA 2013
If you’re following Jordan Brand’s 23rd anniversary and Doernbecher releases, the Air Jordan 5′s placement on this list may make sense, but seeing the “Stealth” colorway (which is a retro+ that we saw in 2006) is surprising. Among some of the jaw droppers are the inclusion of the “Maroon”, “September Blue” Jordan 6s and “French Blue” Jordan 7s supposed release later this year. Also included are welcomed colorways and models that have been re-released but have a high demand (“Aqua” Jordan 8 and “Bred” Jordan 13). As I stated before, I wouldn’t take this source lightly because they’ve broke news on 2011-12 releases. If this is 100% (or even 50%) accurate, 2013 will be another tough year for Mr. Marin.
