Raised in the Irvington Newark area of New Jersey BOBBY TRENDS first got interested in dj-ing at the age of 10, did his first party at a local community center at 13. Locally TRENDS Dj'd at numerous High schools, Colleges and House parties.

TRENDS broke out of his local set and got his start in the NY club scene opening for CIPHA SOUNDS and FUNKMASTER FLEX. He started headlining his own gigs at legendary New York City venues, Cheetah, NV and Speeed.

At the Height of the mixtape game he started a successful series of mixtapes hosted by Artists like 50 cent and the G-Unit, Diplomats (Dipset), Dblock (The Lox)

Soon after TRENDS was invited to join the World Famous Elite DJ Team "THE BIGDAWG PITBULLS" lead by non other than FUNKMASTER FLEX.

TRENDS leveraged his experience and exposure on the NY club scene and in the mix tape arena to develop an expertise in urban and youth marketing. He launched his own Promotion Company "TRENDSLIFE", which has organized events featuring artists like Jay Z, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, P Diddy, Neyo, Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross and Usher to name the few as well as numerous NBA and NFL players.

TRENDS has performed in all the major markets all over the country as well as INTERNATIONALLY including countries like AFRICA, LONDON, GERMANY, BELGIUM and JAPAN. He has also toured with JIM JONES, LIL KIM and BUSTA RHYMES and has DJ'd for The New York Knicks at Madison Sqaure Garden.

TRENDS has been featured on BET's 106 and Park, MTV's Full Throttle with Funkmaster Flex and RIDES on SPIKE TV.

In 2010 HENNESSY BLACK chose BOBBY TRENDS as a featured DJ in their National Marketing Campaign.
Harnessing his major influence in the Urban market has proven to be invaluable.
